Stephanie & Kevin | Youngstown Wedding
So somewhere during the last week, I realised how embarrassingly far behind I am on blogging. This wedding season has been fantastic so far- lots of shooting, of course, and I look forward to it every chance I get- also lots of behind-the-scenes work and planning and editing. So it’s great, but when things get busy, my poor blog gets the short end of the stick! So here’s working on fixing that, and I have a lot of great sessions to share with you soon.
Starting with- Stephanie and Kevin! We went back to Youngstown for their wedding at Churchill United Methodist and reception at Avalon Country Club. Because it’s obviously a little ways away, I didn’t get to meet them in person until the engagement session, and we spent a lot of time discussing their wedding over phone & email. One of the things that Stephanie said early on stuck with me- she told me that they were going to have a live band, and an ice cream bar, and sparklers, and more than anything, it was important that everyone have a lot of fun.
And I’ve gotta say, it worked. There was so much joy in their togetherness & many tender moments remembering loved ones still very much present & all followed up with a LOT of dancing. Stephanie & Kevin know how to throw a good party. :) so happy to share this day with them & wishing them joy in the years to come.
